I am extremely blessed and very lucky to have a hands on husband and Baby B a hands on father. Daddy A embraced fatherhood from the minute we discovered I was pregnant. It was me in fact who took a little time to get my round the situation.
From changing nappies, to taking him swimming to getting up in the night (when he hears him) Daddy A is there with bells on. For most of this year, Daddy A has embraced the role of a stay at home Dad whilst I work and in my opinion, has smashed it! Annoyingly, has even made it look easy.
This makes it all the harder when he goes away.
From Monday we are looking at 3 weeks apart. We have done longer in the past but during those periods I have had my mum on hand to help out with Baby B and Baby B hasn’t been old enough to realise that Daddy has been gone for soo long.
This time it is just Baby B and me.
I would hate for this sound like I am complaining about something which millions of parents do across the world every day. I am not, I am just not used to it. Once I find my feet and get into a routine I know all will be well but I will miss the day to day support and team efforts that comes with both Daddy A and I being home together.
I have so much respect for single parents. Being a parent is hard work with two of you, no matter with one.
Here’s hoping the next three weeks go quick and Baby B doesn’t miss his best buddy too much. I have big shoes to fill. (And I have to learn to play the bloody guitar!)
Oh honey – you know you’ll be just fine. Remember though – you have friends. x
Thank you sweetie xx
You can do it! No sweat. x

Awwww. I hope the 3 weeks fly past. Gorgeous photos x
Thanks hun! Me too! Hope you are all well x
That must feel a little daunting, but you’re right, once you have a routine set up it’ll be fine and probably pass quicker than you think. Best of luck with it all.
