Obsessions of a two year old – Elvis Presley

Continuing with the series, ‘Obsessions of a two year old’, Baby B has moved into music.

My ears!

At our wedding in September this year, a good friend sang The Wonder of You, by the legend, that is Elvis. The reason for the choice of song was as three years previously we attended this very friends wedding at an Elvis Chapel in Vegas.

It was amazing. So much so that we almost considered it ourselves but frankly I didn’t fancy a 12 hour flight with a 27 month old!

B loves music and LOVES the guitar. His Dad plays the guitar and B already has an impressive repertoire of songs under his belt. Whist strumming manically on his mini guitar he sings along to…..

1) Hey Ho – The Lumineers

2) Wonderwall – Oasis

3) Big Rock Candy Mountain – Harry McClintock

4) Hard to be Humble – Mac Davis

5) Never Smile at a Crocodile – Peter Pan

Since the wedding, B has developed a bit of an obsession with the song, Wonder of You. And it would appear that he is now looking to add Elvis to his set list.

This was a snippet that I captured of him singing (wailing!) it the other day…..
