Time to take part in the first linky of 2015 and a wonderful one it is to! Previously Love the Little things hosted by the lovely But Why Mummy Why, it is now #littleloves and this is my first #littleloves in 2015
On New Year’s Day I embraced one of my New Year promises to myself to read more and read a whole book! Yup, all 366 pages worth in one day.
Hubby left for 2.5 weeks away on the morning of the 2nd so I took advantage of him spending the afternoon with our boy on New Years to read. Thanks hubby!
I read The Book of You by Claire Kendal. A good old psychological thriller about a stalker which I thoroughly enjoyed. Nothing says Happy New Year like a stalker eh! I rarely read fiction so it made a nice change to get engrossed in a story.
The last episode of Homeland. Well, that was a good series wasn’t it?
I have to admit that I was reluctant to continue to watch after Brody’s demise but boy am I glad I did. Great acting and amazing story lines (although very close to real life) it had me in the edge of my seat every week! Already looking forward to the new series.
Thankfully Broadchurch is starting this week to fill the hole.
My new beanie! Inspired by Style Me Sunday , I spotted this beanie online and popped it onto a last minute Christmas list! Hubby excelled himself and one arrived in the nick of time on Christmas Eve after he spoke with the wonderful team at Roo’s Beach.
We are off snowboarding at the end of the month so it will get plenty of use!
Our boy singing A LOT over the last week. Singing, talking, shouting, laughing, the boy is rarely quiet. I captured this particularly memorial performance of him singing the Frozen classic ‘Let It Go’ whilst playing the guitar and bouncing on a space hopper.
Who said boys couldn’t multitask!
A number of juices and smoothies with my new NutriBullet. As part of the old New Year health kick, I plan to have one protein and nutrients packed drink a day. I’ve purchased all the powders and plenty of greens and so far am really enjoying experimenting. Some posts to come on this.
Watching our little man get excited about Christmas was awesome. Still not 100% sure he got it, as he did wake up on Christmas Day asking what we were doing today, and was he going to school. Bless. However, he loved the mess the Reindeers made downstairs on Christmas Eve and very much enjoyed delving into the (personalised!) sack that Santa left him.
I wanted to share a couple of photos of his Christmas morning……
Blooming magical!
Happy New Year All x
Love both of your hats!! Really fab. Looks like ye had a lovely Christmas morning! I’m thinking of investing in a nutri bullet too, everyone is raving about them!! Xxx
I love his Santa sack although I am surprised Rudolph made so uch mess with his carrots 🙂 #littleloves
