The lovely #littleloves linky always comes round quick and provides a startling reminder of how fast time passes us by. The weeks are literally flying! This week has been a busy one and an exciting one at that.
Read
I have been upping my game on the reading front in 2015, with my aim of reading at least a book a month. It can be hard to find the time but I think it is important ‘switch off’ time and is better spent reading then watching TV. (See below) This week I started reading The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson, so far I am enjoying it.
Watched
I got slightly into (*obsessed with) the US drama Scandal. Gosh, what wonderfully addictive television. A bit silly at times but great escapism stuff all the same. Only problem is when there are three whole series’s available on Amazon Prime and knowing when to stop watching becomes a problem! I must admit to a couple of late night watching episodes back to back.
Heard
I spent sometime this week merging my iTunes files from over three laptops dating back to 2006. What a walk down memory lane! Music is amazing for not only bringing back memories but emotions with them. I really enjoy an evening reminiscing and putting together a couple of playlists for snowboarding this week.
Wore
Trainers. A lot this week. I have been enjoying getting back into the training in 2015 and have been making a real effort to run more. My old faithful Nike’s have seen the light at all times of day with a number of slow steady runs and I am feeling good! Even managed a couple with the Hubby which is nice.
Made
Some delicious food with the wonderful team from AGA who came to our house this week to shoot a piece for AGA living Magazine. We made granola, pancakes and Kedgeree to name a few dishes.
Now I may have had some (*a great deal) of assistance but if anyone asks, it was all my handy work! Images to come in the Spring addition of the magazine. All very exciting! More to come on that…
And lastly
We are off on holiday! Actually I wrote this post on the runway at Gatwick waiting to take off. It is our annual trip to the mountains for an amazing week of snow fun with a fantastic group of friends. It is also our only child free week, together, of the year. We are off to Italy It is really special and we fully intend to make the most of it. Returning home to my darling boy is the icing on the cake.
It sounds like you’re doing great with the exercise, looking forward to reading more of how you get on x
I was doing great until the holiday! 😉 Back to square one again now but it was worth it. Hope you are well xx
