The Writing Drought

I sat with a friend recently, moaning slightly about my lack of ‘get up and go’ when it came to my blogging. He said that I was over analysing it. He was right. I have a tendency to do that with most things as it goes, but I have allowed it to get in the way of my blogging.

Over complicating things is something else I am rather good at! Not being the best or most natural writer in town, I always try extra hard to make sure the posts I write are at least half interesting. In doing so, I seem to have decided that the ones of late were not interesting enough to grace your phones and laptop screens.

However, I have now decided to you let you be the judge of that! If you aren’t interested, you just won’t read them. Barney, my little darling and constant source of inspiration who makes me laugh daily, provides me with endless topics on which to rant, write about and reflect on. This blog started because of him. As a way to remember, capture and share the moments and memories he creates. The creative juices are back and the posts are flowing, so thanks for sticking with me during the writing drought.
